Jungs Bakery

Jungs Bakery is a new addition to Windsors Peascod Street, having opened in the Summer of 2013. This continental Family run Bakery and Patisserie already has an established name in Beaconsfield, & Gerrards Cross, but this outlet is their first in the Royal Borough.

There’s a great deal of choice here, whether you’re after bread, pastries, breakfast or a lunch snack, Jungs Bakery should be able to deliver. The menu starts from the very healthy ‘Scotch porridge’ all the way on to ‘Eggs Royal’, ‘French Toast’, and for the very hungry, a ‘Full English Breakfast’.

Lunch items include Stone baked flatbreads, Classic Cheeseburgers, Flash Grilled Steaks, and a more than a few Continental additions like Spatzle, Bratwurst Hot Dogs, and Sauerkraut. Families will be happy to hear, a ‘Jungsters’ menu is also available with some specially created dishes tailored for tots. If you happen to be in a hurry, a selection of sandwiches and hot drinks are also available to go.

We loved the freshly made pretzels, and home made doughnuts. Jungs Bakery Windsor also have a wide variety of continental and specialty loaves; rye, sour dough and a selection of multi-corn and wheat-free recipes.

The Café has quite an extensive seating and dining area towards the back of the premises, which also makes for a quiet spot to unwind after a day of shopping on the high street, and if the weather permits it, there are a few tables out on peascod street where you can watch the world go by.
