The Crispin Windsor is a typical English pub located in the heart of Windsor with great value food on a Sunday. Their two course Sunday lunch (including dessert) is available between 12:00 midday and 3:00pm, for a very good price for adults, and almost half the price for children. The only snag is that you need to pre-book for this.
Having missed the Lunch Deadline, we decided to try one of the local Ales, the ‘Windsor & Eton Guardsman’, and took our pints out to the Crispin’s small courtyard at the back of the premises, while this area is a little bare, on the plus side a Large pool table is available to patrons here and regularly used by the local Pool League. Although you might need to form a queue, as it appeared to be the main attraction on our visit.
As for events, the Crispin Windsor offers a multitude of activities:- Cribbage Monday nights, Darts and Pool tournaments on Thursdays, and Karaoke Cabaret every Friday night from 8:30PM until late. Live music on some Saturdays or Sundays, including Rick Chase, Dave Dawson, Lawrence, Anna Nightingale, Caribbean Theme Night, Irish singer Dan McHugh, Creme Freche, Family and Juice of Barley. For latest on events at The Crispin check with the Landlady.
The Crispin Windsor also supports Pauls Trust, helping children with disabilities. Sky Sports & ESPN are also available here.
